Wedding rehearsal causes right royal 'ruck-us'
THERE was little sign of pre-wedding jitters as Zara Phillips and England rugby star Mike Tindall staged a wedding rehearsal yesterday.
Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter -- herself an international sportstar in the world of three-day eventing -- and her fiance arrived at Canongate Kirk -- Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile church -- for a final run- through of today's service.
The couple travelled in a chauffeur-driven Jaguar and stepped out into bright summer sunshine.
A large group of well-wishers had gathered across the road and they gave a spontaneous cheer as the bride and groom headed through the gates.
Zara's parents Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips were also in attendance.
Later in the evening, the couple hosted a pre-wedding drinks party onboard the royal yacht Britannia.
Among the guests were newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton. Kate looked elegant in a mid-length green dress as she walked up the red-carpeted steps.
Guests started to arrive at the yacht, which is permanently moored in Leith, Edinburgh, at around 6.30pm.
Prince Harry was last to arrive at the yacht. As the prince entered the party, a massive cheer could be heard from inside. The party appeared to be mainly for the younger guests.
