WATCH: The moment a drunken passenger pushes ticket inspector onto train tracks - and laughs
This is the terrifying moment a drunken passenger pushed a ticket inspector onto the tracks at Honwell station and walked away laughing.
The ticket inspector, Andrew Foran, managed to climb back onto the platform moments before the train arrived.
He had to walk along the tracks to where the platform was lower, as he was unable to climb back up where he was pushed due to his injured shoulder.
According to the Evening Standard, Mr Foran was left “traumatised” by the incident and has suffered nightmares and flashbacks since.
Andrew Kapta, his attacker, was jailed for three-and-a-half years after admitting to bodily harm and endangering personal safety.
“You ended up smiling and chuckling at that man as he stood on the railway, hoping to goodness a train wasn’t about to arrive – I find this incident terrible,” the judge told him in court.
