A 33-year-old binman from Herefordshire, England who drank four fish in a cocktail of alcohol has walked free from court after being charged with animal cruelty.
Paul Wooding was sentenced at Hereford Magistrates' Court, over two offences linked to the online Neknominate craze, in an incident in a pub which happened in February.
In the video, Mr Wooding can be heard saying "this is my Neknominate" before drinking a mixture of wine, gin, vodka, rum and lemonade which the fish was in.
Mr Wooding, who was prosecuted by the RSPCA, was given an 18-month conditional discharge for causing unnecessary suffering to the fish and failing to protect it.
He was also has to pay £500 (€623) costs and a £15 (€18) victim surcharge.
