DRAMATIC CCTV has captured the moment an off-duty police officer saved a woman who fainted into the path of an oncoming train.
The 52-year-old woman fainted and fell onto the tracks at Marques de Vadilla station in Madrid, moments before a commuter train was due.
An off-duty police officer at the other end of the platform saw the woman fall and jumped down onto the tracks to rescue her, while other startled onlookers attempted to wave at the train to stop.
Madrid police confirmed that the woman was administered first aid at the scene by a doctor who was waiting for a train on the opposite platform.
