Two hurt as three buses crash in London's Parliament Square

Two people were injured when three buses crashed in London's Parliament Square, bringing traffic to a halt.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Victoria Street shortly after 2.30pm.

A Met Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 14.35 to reports of an RTC between three buses in Parliament Square.

"We are on scene along with the ambulance and fire brigade. A man and a woman are being treated at the scene for injuries."

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a paramedic, four ambulances and the hazardous response team were sent to the scene.
