A man who was caught on CCTV hitting and dragging a toddler while cycling a on the footpath has been fined in a UK court.
Andrew Holland (24) has been fined £829 (€1176) by Lancaster Magistrates Court for dangerous cycling, which he admitted to, BBC reports.
It is reported that Mr Holland left the scene after he dragged three year old Lucie Wilding more than three metres along the ground, but was later identified from CCTV footage.
Lucie's parents said that she is still suffering from anxiety after the incident, which left her with scrapes and bruises.
Her mother, Lauren Howarth, said: "There was just blood all down the side of her face and she was just screaming, just screaming.
"It was awful. All she was doing was just stepping outside her front gate. Never for one minute would I ever think that a cyclist would hit my daughter on the pavement."
Holland had previously said that the incident had ruined his life after the CCTV footage went viral on social media.
