The wife of a millionaire Liverpool property developer is found dead in the back of a car
THE wife of one of Liverpool's most prominent property developers has been found dead in the back of a car.
Nicole Falkingham, 41, was found in a car in Otterspool, south Liverpool, on Friday morning. Some reports claim she had frozen to death.
It is feared she may have died from hypothermia after spending the night in the back of the vehicle in sub-zero temperatures.
Her body was discovered when Merseyside Police were called to Eastwood, near St Michael's railway station in Liverpool, just after 10am on Friday.
When they arrived police also found a cannabis factory with more than 100 plants.
A man age 48 and a woman age 49 were arrested on suspicion of unlawful killing and cultivating cannabis.
They have both since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
A post mortem has taken place, but results are being withheld pending toxicology investigations and blood tests.
Mrs Falkingham was married to 50-year old architect and property tycoon Jonathan Falkingham, Chief Executive of Manchester-based Urban Splash.
According to reports the couple were estranged at the time of her death.
Tributes were today paid to Mrs Falkingham, who friends described as 'beautiful inside and out'.
