Sex scandal Tory Boris goes on run from press

His wife Marina.
WHEN one is in the middle of a political and domestic crisis, what does one do? Why, go jogging, of course.
So it was that Boris Johnson, the sacked British Conservative party vice-chairman, spent yesterday dodging photographers a day after his affair with Petronella Wyatt (35) became public.
Clearly trying to avoid being recognised, Johnson went jogging outside his Highgate, London home in a baggy floral Bermuda shorts, a fawn-coloured fleece, and a fetching white bandanna decorated with the skull and crossbones.
He retreated inside again when he saw the photographers. His wife Marina emerged to say that he had left by another exit. But Mr Johnson was spotted further down the street, and was quickly caught up by the photographers.
"I advise you all very strongly: go for a run, get some exercise and have a beautiful day."
Asked if he could save his marriage, he said: "I'm going to do whatever I can."
Challenged over whether he had misled his party leader, Michael Howard, over his affair with Ms Wyatt, Mr Johnson snapped: "No, I certainly didn't. Will you kindly hop it." (© Independent News Service)
