Sammy Clarke, 14, and Siobhan Clarke, 15, left school early on Friday to meet up with a friend, Essex Police reported.

They were not seen since leaving to go to a local park that night, officers said.

But Essex Police said today  that the pair were found 'safe and well'.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction in connection with the incident, police said.

Although the girls have the same surname, they are not related.
