Prince William won't wear a wedding ring
Prince William will not wear a wedding ring after he is married, St James's Palace announced last night.
He will place a ring on Kate Middleton's finger during the Westminster Abbey ceremony on April 29, but she will not do the same to him.
The wearing of wedding rings is down to individual preference and has become more common in recent years, but some members of the upper classes still choose to dispense with them.
William's father, Prince Charles, does wear a wedding band -- under a signet ring on the little finger of his left hand -- but the Duke of Edinburgh does not.
