Murder probe detectives have arrested nine people - including two teenage boys - in connection with the shooting of two "innocent bystanders" last weekend.
Scotland Yard said six people were held at Gatwick Airport today following the death of a man named at the scene of Friday night's incident in Wood Green, north London, as father-of-two Erdogan Guzel. A woman was left seriously injured following the attack.
Metropolitan Police said three males and three females, aged between 16 and 61, were arrested on suspicion of either murder or conspiracy to murder.
Three men were also arrested at an address in Hornsey, north London, aged 23, 26 and 55, on suspicion of murder.
They remain in custody.
Mr Guzel was pronounced dead at the scene.
Metropolitan Police believe the two victims were not the intended targets of the shooting, and were likely innocent bystanders who were not known to each other.
The incident happened just outside the Bros Bakery in Lordship Lane where Mr Guzel would often sit, eyewitnesses said.
A friend of Mr Guzel, who asked not to be named, said: ''He was always on this street, he lived nearby.
''He was a good guy.''
He said Mr Guzel has two children, a son and a daughter aged between 15 and 16, who were on holiday in Turkey at the time of the shooting.
