Missing boy Alfie taken from grandmother's home by mother (30) returned home

A little boy who went missing with his mother has been returned home safe and well following a police appeal.

West Midlands Police made a direct appeal to the mother of Alfie Rogers, Jessica Simpson, to make contact after the pair went missing on Friday afternoon.

The 30-year-old had taken the youngster from his grandmother's house in Bloxwich, West Midlands, where he usually lives but then failed to return.

A spokesman for the force said: "Missing toddler Alfie Rogers has been found safe and well.

"He was dropped off at a relative's address at around 4pm today."
