Detectives investigating the murder of Birmingham company director Akhtar Javeed have arrested a man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
The 50-year-old, from the Hodge Hill area of the city, was detained by police late on Sunday and remains in police custody for questioning.
Mr Javeed, 56, was shot in the neck during what police believe was an attempted robbery at his catering supplies distribution warehouse in Rea Street South, Digbeth, on February 3.
Businessman Suraj Mistry, 26 of Laundon Way, Leicester, and 18-year-old student Lemar Wali, of Osmaston Park Road, Derby, appeared before magistrates on Monday charged with Mr Javeed's murder.
A 19-year-old woman arrested on Friday in Leicester on suspicion of assisting an offender was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Relatives of Mr Javeed, who lived in east London, paid tribute to him last week, describing him as a "humble and simple" father and grandfather who worked tirelessly to provide for his family.
