A man has been arrested after an incendiary device was left in a Preston shopping centre.
The 27-year-old man, from Preston, was arrested on Friday morning at an address in the city.
He is in custody being held on suspicion of committing arson with intent to endanger life, said Lancashire Police.
Shoppers had to be evacuated from the Fishergate Shopping Centre after a member of the public found the device - described as "crude" - in the toilets at around 9.10am on Thursday.
The device ignited but caused no real damage and no injuries.
