Spare a thought for the trainee at 'Tatler' magazine, whose task of walking the office's beloved pet dachshund ended in a bizarre tragedy involving the office's revolving doors.
'Tatler Alan', who became an online star thanks to dozens of photographs, was killed when he became trapped in the door at Vogue House, central London, while on his way out for a lunchtime walk.
The dog was being exercised on his lead by a member of staff, said to be a female intern, when he became distracted by a jogger and attempted to dash through before getting trapped.
Despite the effort of ten firemen, Alan was pronounced dead.
