Rebecca Rigby sat in court nine at the Old Bailey for the hearing as Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, denied murdering the solder via videolink from prison.

The father-of-one died from multiple cut and stab wounds as he returned to Woolwich barracks on May 22.

The two men also each denied attempting to murder a police officer on 22 May, the day of Fusilier Rigby's death, and conspiracy to murder a police officer. The men, wearing red T-shirts and pale trousers, appeared from separate rooms for today’s hearing.
