AN IMF probe into allegations of sexual harassment and abuse of office against Dominique Strauss-Kahn failed in 2008 because the alleged victim refused to co-operate.
Piroska Nagy, an IMF economist, didn't participate in the bank's internal probe because she "did not fully trust the internal processes", she said in a letter three years ago.
Mr Strauss-Kahn was arrested last week on charges of attempted rape and sexual assault, charges he denies.
