A Croatian human rights campaigner was left red faced when his trousers fell down just as his country's president handed him an award.
With cameras fixed on him, Ivan Zvonimir Cicak smiled as he received an award for his contribution to human rights work from President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
But just as the head of the Croatian Helsinki Committee for Human Rights extended his hand to take the award, his trousers slipped down.
The moment was caught on camera - as was President Grabar-Kitarovic's expression. Fortunately, she was holding the award - saving Mr Cicak the further indignity of publicly displaying his underwear.
The award was presented to Mr Cicak and the rest of the human rights committee for their work ahead of international Human Rights Day on December 10.
