Chris Huhne demanded that ex-wife Vicky Pryce have a second abortion, which she refused, a court has heard.
Ms Pryce had previously told Southwarn Crown Court that the UK's former energy secretary forced her to terminate her pregnancy in 1990 because it was "bad for his career". Yesterday, she said he made the same demand two years later.
Ms Pryce denies perverting the course of justice, to which Mr Huhne earlier pleaded guilty, and claims Mr Huhne bullied her into taking his speeding points in 2003.
Ms Pryce, who already had two children from a previous marriage and two with Mr Huhne, said of the abortion: "I just couldn't bring myself to do it and I had learnt from the previous one." The case was adjourned until Monday.
