German fashion label Hugo Boss has apologised for using slave labourers during World War II, many of whom had been abducted.
The apology coincides with the publication of an official history, commissioned by the firm, of activities during the Hitler era when it benefited from Nazi contracts, according to Hugo Boss: 1924-1945.
A website statement expressed “regret” for the firm’s actions in the Nazi period.
