The emergency section of a Texas hospital has been closed due to an invasion of bats.

A number of small bats have moved into the Good Shepherd Medical Centre.

They were seen in the building's walls and ceilings and in the area where ambulances frequent.

While efforts are being made to remove them from the hospital, emergency medical services have been suspended in the hospital.
