Hingis assaulted me, claims ex-husband
The husband of the Swiss tennis star Martina Hingis, right, has accused his estranged wife and her mother of assaulting him and taking his valuables, causing him to plan to flee Switzerland in fear for his life, it has been reported.
Thibault Hutin, a 26-year-old equestrian, claimed that the 32-year-old, her mother and her mother's boyfriend had "beaten and scratched" him in an attack at the apartment they jointly owned in the Swiss village of Feusisberg.
The boyfriend had also struck him on the head with a DVD player, he told the Swiss newspaper 'Blick', adding he was so "terrified" he had moved into a hotel and plans to return to his native France.
Police confirmed yesterday that Mr Hutin had filed a complaint following "serious problems" at the apartment.
Mr Hutin said that after fleeing he realised that his wallet and credit cards were missing. Ms Hingis's representatives did not respond to requests for comment. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
