THE heiress of the Reiss clothing empire has died suddenly, it has been reported.
Debra Reiss (34), the daughter of David Reiss (72), had been suffering from a long term illness.
It is understood that her unborn child also passed away, according to the Daily Mail.
Ms Reiss gave birth to a daughter, Scarlett, last year.
She had been working for the business as a brand director in Los Angeles in the time before her death.
Her father David turned the company into a worldwide company, favoured by Kate Middleton among others.
He took over his father’s East End outfitters in 1971.
Sales at the company skyrocketed after Kate Middleton wore a cream silk dress made by them in her official engagement portrait in 2011.
A spokesperson told the Mail:
“The thoughts of everyone at Reiss are with David and his family'.
