'Harry Potter' star to give evidence at trial of her father and brother
A 'HARRY Potter' star will be called to give evidence at the trial of her father and brother who are accused of threatening to kill her.
Afshan Azad (22), pictured, played Padma Patil, a classmate of the adolescent wizard, in the blockbuster films based on the books by JK Rowling.
Her father, Abul Azad (54) and her brother, Ashraf Azad (22), both from Manchester, are accused of making the threat on May 21 of this year.
Ashraf Azad is also accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on the same date.
Both men entered not guilty pleas at Manchester Crown Court yesterday. They were bailed on condition that they do not contact Ms Azad and do not travel to London.
The trial is set to begin on December 20.
