A mass brawl was sparked on-board a Paris-bound flight after a passenger allegedly urinated on a fellow traveller.

On Monday, an Air Méditerranée flight from North Africa was forced to touch down in Lyon after the pilot learned of a "big brawl" amongst passengers.

The low cost airline, which operates flights to Iran, Alegria, Beirut France, and Spain, has declined to comment on reports that one man had to be pinned down by flight attendants after he became "unruly" and began to urinate on a fellow passenger.

Pictures posted on Twitter however report to show the incident, with one showing a shirtless man being overpowered by members of the crew.

Following the flight’s landing at Lyon’s Saint-Exupéry airport, French media reports that two men were removed before the plane continued onwards to Paris.
