Feminists vent fury at DSK's defenders
FRENCH feminist groups demonstrated yesterday against a "flood" of male chauvinist comments in France on the Dominique Strauss-Kahn affair.
Three women's groups held a protest in Paris and published a petition condemning the "unabashed sexism" of politicians who sprang to the defence of the former IMF chief and Socialist presidential contender after he was accused of sexually assaulting a maid at a New York hotel last week.
"We have been disgusted by a daily outpouring of misogynist comments," the petition said. (© Independent News Service)
