After Mr Edmonds passes a bus, a white BMW approaches in the middle of the street and manoeuvres towards him.

The driver is then seen reaching out of his car window to try to shove Mr Edmonds off his bike.

Recounting the experience, Mr Edmonds said: "I knew he was about to do something aggressive, so braced myself.

"He put his hand on my right hip and gave a good shove, but fortunately even though it unbalanced me slightly, I was able to stay upright.

"My feelings were a sense of disbelief that someone would attempt that and a hope that I'd have a clear enough picture on the camera."
