Shrien Dewani was kicked out of The Priory Hospital after threatening to punch a member of staff, a court heard yesterday.
The British businessman accused of ordering the murder of his wife on honeymoon in South Africa also threw a cushion at the employee and became aggressive towards a female patient, it emerged.
The 31-year-old was on bail at the Bristol hospital but police were called in due to his behaviour and staff at The Priory asked for him to be removed.
He appeared in court in London yesterday, where Judge Howard Riddle renewed his bail. Mr Dewani was transferred to Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke, a low security mental health hospital in Somerset, on Monday.
