This is the horrifying moment raiders stormed a casino with a scythe and a machete, waving their weapons in people’s faces before bundling banknotes into a bag.
Footage released by West Midlands Police shows Wayne Marsh (33) and Grant Walker (24) attacking Walsall’s Grosvenor Casino in Bentley last October.
The two men, along with accomplice Andrew Warley (41), were jailed at Wolverhampton Crown Court for a total of 26 years following three brutal robberies in just 12 days.
The court heard how Warley waited in a getaway car outside while Marsh and Walker ran into the building and vaulted into a cashier’s office before threatening staff.
The video reveals how the bungling pair struggled to leave the building after their raid.
Masked Marsh fell over as he exited the cashier’s office and seconds later both men tried to get into the same revolving door compartment – causing it to stop turning momentarily.
All three men admitted conspiracy to commit robbery and at Wolverhampton Crown Court Warley was jailed for nine years, Walker for eight years and eight months, and Marsh for eight years and nine months.
