CHRISTMAS Day has become the day of the year when unfaithful husbands are most likely to be caught out, according to a top divorce lawyer.
Ayesha Vardag, who has acted in a string of multi-million pound separations, said she had noticed a marked rise in break-ups stemming from texts and calls on Christmas Day.
She said they had become an increasingly common feature in divorce cases, as using mobile phones had become second nature to people. Where once proving suspicions might have involved hotel bills and checking for perfumes, now a quick check of call histories and email accounts has become the norm.
