WATCH: The moment a 400ft chimney is blown to smithereens
In this mesmerising video, a 400ft chimney that has dominated the local skyline for years is blown to smithereens in a matter of seconds.
The chimney, which is in Wiltshire in the UK, was built in the early 1960s and mothballed in 2009. It was visible for miles and was part of the Westbury cement works which is owned by Tarmac.
Nine-year-old Lily Sargent got to detonate the controlled explosion, which marked the end of over 40 years production at the site.
Hundreds of locals attended the event.
