A suspected thief received a €390 refund for a television he picked off the shop floor and brought to the cashier.

The man walked in to an Aldi store in Lincoln, England on January 2 and picked up the 49-inch Bauhn Smart TV.

He then brought the television straight to a till and asked for a refund without a receipt, and was then directed to speak to the manager, according to Lincolnshire Police.

After speaking to the manager and shaking his hand, he was granted a refund and left the store.
