Boy (13) dies after Ferrari he was travelling in crashes in village

A 13-year-old boy was killed when a Ferrari F50 he was travelling in crashed in a village.

A man aged 37 who was also in the red supercar suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as stable.

The single-vehicle crash happened on an access road that leads to Newlyns and Lodge Farms on Hook Road in North Warnborough, near Hook, Hampshire, at 8.45pm on Monday.

The teenager, who has not been formally identified but is from the Winchester area, died at the scene, while the man, from Surrey, was admitted to North Hampshire Hospital.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "Officers who are continuing this morning to investigate the exact circumstances of this collision are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area to come forward."
