Bride discovers fiance is porn star
A bride-to-be has cancelled her church wedding just weeks before it was due to take place after discovering that her fiance was a porn star.
Heartbroken 27-year-old Haylie Hocking, from Bristol, the UK, learnt of Jason Brake's secret life as a stripper and "adult film actor" when her her maid-of-honour searched the internet for a hen-do stripper and spotted him in a porn flick.
Miss Hocking had already bought an £800 (€930) dress and booked a country house for the reception. But when Mr Brake, a part-time fitness instructor, admitted the revelation she kicked him out of her life.
She told a magazine: "There was no way I could marry an adult film star."
The pair began dating last year and after eight months he proposed to her.
Jason used his work as a fitness instructor as cover for when he was performing in adult films, telling Haylie he was training clients in a gym.
Haylie's friend Lisa noticed an internet clip featuring an adult actor who looked like Jason when searching for a stripper for the hen-do.
Haylie checked the website and after confronting Jason with the evidence he admitted to his secret sideline as a porn star.
Jason said he began making films as an extra source of income before meeting Haylie.
He said: "The sex side is purely for the camera, but Haylie did not understand I was only acting.
"I am sorry and did not want to hurt her. I still love Haylie and would have stopped doing porn if she had asked me to."
