Body found in the search for missing Amber Peat (13)

Police searching for missing 13-year-old Amber Peat in the UK have found a body this evening.
Amber's family has been informed of the discovery, Nottinghamshire Police report.
Police also said they are not treating the death of the young girl, believed to be that of Amber Peat, as suspicious.
"We ask that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time," an official statement on the police force's website reads.
"Officers are at the scene in Mansfield and enquiries are on-going. No formal identification has yet taken place.
"Thank you for all of your assistance, particularly the Mansfield community, in the search to find Amber.
"Further information will be provided as soon as possible."
The parents of the missing teen made an emotional plea for their daughter’s safe return this morning.
Amber had missing since Saturday afternoon, when she stormed out of the family home following a row over chores.
Speaking at a press conference alongside Nottinghamshire Police, Amber's mother Kelly said: "If you're watching this, or if anybody knows where she is, just send her home. Please."
“We are petrified… We just want her to know that she's not in any trouble... we just need to know that she's all right.”
Adding: "We were in the living room, and I heard the front door slam, and that's when I realised. I couldn't see her anywhere - she was just gone."
Her stepfather, Danny, described her as someone who "just wants to read", and "not the kind of girl that would wander off".
He added: "Just come home. We just want you home."
Police confirmed that there were no sightings of Amber since she went missing on Saturday.
