Appeal to family of Irishman found dead in Wales

The family of an Irishman found dead in Wales have been asked to contact local police.

The body of Brian O'Treabhair was discovered at his home in Swansea by a neighbour.

Police were called to the property on Elan Avenue in Clase but his death is not being treated as suspicious.

The coroner was informed but, despite enquiries in the area, the office has not been able to locate Mr O'Treabhair's next of kin.

Police have appealed for any family member or anyone with relevant information to contact South Wales Police.

They have confirmed that Brian O'Treabhair was born in Ireland.

Anyone who knew Mr O’Treabhair or anyone who knows of a family member should contact police on 101 quoting occurrence number 1600066759.
