Allegations of abuse
It is alleged that Sir Jimmy Savile abused young patients at the hospital in the Seventies and Eighties while some staff turned a blind eye. Caroline Moore, who was a 13-year-old spinal patient in 1971, said the television star forcibly kissed her while she sat in a wheelchair in a corridor.
Haut de la Garenne
Savile is suspected of abusing children at the infamous Haut de la Garenne children's home on Jersey. He initially denied ever having visited the school, but was later forced to admit that he had been there when a photograph emerged from the Seventies showing him surrounded by youngsters.
Duncroft Approved School for Girls
In 2007 Savile was interviewed under caution by Surrey Police over claims that he had abused young girls at the school in Staines in the Seventies. The investigation was dropped due to a lack of evidence.
Leeds General Infirmary
The star is accused of groping youngsters at the hospital where he used to volunteer as a porter in the Seventies.
It is alleged that Savile abused former teenage patients at the maximum-security unit when he volunteered there in the Sixties.
BBC Television Centre
Savile is accused of molesting young fans in his dressing room during the Seventies and Eighties when he was at the height of his fame. He is said to have handpicked girls from the Duncroft School and invited them to his shows. It is also claimed that other BBC stars joined in the abuse.
North Yorkshire police have confirmed they are investigating allegations that Savile sexually assaulted a teenage girl in the resort in the Eighties.
A woman has come forward claiming that Savile abused her and a teenage friend in his caravan while they were on a family holiday on the island.
In 2008 Sussex Police investigated claims by a woman that she was indecently assaulted by Savile in the Seventies. The investigation was dropped due to a lack of evidence.

The Metropolitan Police is leading the overall investigation, Operation Yewtree, and confirmed that it is investigating 120 lines of inquiry, including two rapes.
