Max underwent an emergency operation last month after X-rays revealed the 12.7cm teaspoon lodged in his stomach.

STARTLED Washington drivers weren't seeing things -- it really was a kangaroo hopping down the highway in the US state.

DUBAI has settled on a use for the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner it bought for £64m (€80m) in 2007, with plans to make it into a floating hotel fitted with the original furnishings.

CHART sensation Justin Bieber has lined up his first arena tour in the UK for two years with a series of six shows.

The Canadian singer's 2013 dates on his Believe tour will begin at Manchester Arena on February 19.

The teenage star, whose latest album 'Believe' topped the chart this month, is not playing any shows in Scotland, Wales or Ireland, and is restricting his newly announced shows to English cities.
