Rwandan-born warlord Bosco Ntaganda is custody and is being flown to The Hague to stand trial on charges of overseeing atrocities in eastern DR Congo a decade ago, The International Criminal Court says.
Ntaganda was detained in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, where he surrendered to the US Embassy on Monday, the court said in a statement.
He faces charges including murder, rape, sexual slavery and using child soldiers in brutal fighting in the eastern Congo region of Ituri.
