NICK Clegg is far and away the most fancied of the three main British party leaders -- in terms of sex appeal. A new poll shows that 57 per cent of the 250 people -- women presumably -- questioned said they would enjoy a romp in the hay with the Liberal Democrat leader.

The figure for David Cameron was 31 per cent and for Gordon Brown 12 per cent.

The sample was also asked to provide words to describe this triumvirate -- none of them very flattering. Cameron was seen as "smarmy", "smug", "slimy" "posh" and "toff".

Brown comes across as "boring" and "untrustworthy", while the best they could say about Clegg was that he was "normal".
