Book urges Muslims to have group sex with wives

A CONTROVERSIAL Islamic 'wife club' that offers relationship advice has produced an explicit manual which promotes group sex, writes Ian MacKinnon.

The Malaysian Obedient Wife Club created the 115-page, pocket-sized guide to 'Islamic sex', which says Muslim men can justifiably have sexual relations with all their wives simultaneously.

Women's groups have denounced the club's latest sex manual offering as a "cheap stunt". Ratna Osman of Sisters in Islam said: "They do not have anything concrete to contribute to society."

The club, linked to an Islamic cult banned by the government 20 years ago, was formed in June by a group that also founded the Polygamy Club in 2009.

Jamil Khir Baharom, the minister for Islamic Affairs, said his department would investigate the book's contents. Books can be banned if they are judged to be pornographic or insulting to Islam. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
