Babylon 5 actor Jerry Doyle dies aged 60
Actor and talk show host Gerard "Jerry" Doyle has died in Las Vegas aged 60.
Police were called at around 4pm local time on Wednesday after Doyle was found dead at his home in north-west Las Vegas. Officer Laura Meltzer said the death did not appear to be suspicious.
Clark County coroner John Fudenberg said a post-mortem examination is scheduled and it will take several weeks and toxicology tests to determine a cause of death.
As an actor, Doyle was best known as Michael Garibaldi in the 1990s sci-fi television show Babylon 5.
In recent years, his self-titled radio show aired on Talk Radio Network and, in Las Vegas, on weekday afternoons on AM radio station KDWN.
Show producer Brad Silvers said Doyle also founded the conservative-libertarian opinion blog EpicTimes.com.
