THAILAND has broken the world record for the most number of people simultaneously hula-hooping with 4,483.

The record was set at Thammasat University stadium in Pathum Thani province, on the outskirts of Bangkok yesterday.

Thailand broke the previous record held by Taiwain, with a new record of 4,483 people hula-hooping for seven minutes. The event was organized by the public health ministry to promote exercise and good health.
