The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with their baby Prince George, are on a three-week trip to New Zealand and Australia.

William and Kate's son looked bright, happy and content as he was carried off the plane in Wellington by his mother.

The President said he understood that the couple had to be away this week.

He said: "I'm sure that there will be an opportunity of meeting them into the future. We are all honoured that the invitation to return this trip came so quickly."
