Two club golfers playing The Lakes - site of the Australian Open beginning - have hit consecutive holes-in-one.
Peter Hough and Jonathan Cook had the back-to-back aces on the par-three ninth hole. Mr Hough, a member at The Lakes, holed out first on the 136-yard hole. Both used seven-irons.
Mr Cook, a member at the nearby Beverley Park club, said "the whole place went nuts".
The National Hole in One Registry website in the United States quotes the odds of two players from the same foursome acing the same hole as 17 million to one.
