Pint-sized Khagendra Thapa Magar is within reach of becoming the world's shortest man.

The 17-year-old - who is no bigger than a bulging bicep - is hoping to avoid a sudden growth spurt to muscle in on a world record.

Khagendra is two weeks away from his 18th birthday and, if he sticks at his present 22in (56cm), will become the smallest adult male.

On Thursday he was in London, being held by Tiny Iron, 28, from London, who has the UK's largest biceps, at 24in (61cm).

They were posing at the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! museum in London's Piccadilly, to promote the new book Ripley's Enter If You Dare.
