Tesco text tips keep romance alive

With no post to deliver letters of love, Tesco Mobile is predicting an unprecedented rush of text messages on February 14.
And to help amorous Brits strike the right tone with their soppy texts it has employed romance guru Maureen to assist would-be Romeos stuck seeking inspiration.
Described as a real-life Barbara Cartland, Maureen has spent the past few weeks devouring love poetry and prose and collected her favourite quotes on a mobile WAP site.
Any mobile user can text ROMANCE to 83726 on February 14 to receive some inspiration from the likes of Shakespeare, Keats and Voltaire.
Maureen said: "People will have to text their romantic intentions this year and I want to help them find the right words instead of a couple of bland emoticons.
"I hope my suggestions will encourage people of all ages to send romantic texts this year or include my messages in their cards. It's not just something for the young. I don't want anyone missing out on a Valentine when I'm playing cupid."
