Police are appealing for witnesses after 350 sheep were stolen

Police are seeking witnesses after 350 sheep were stolen from a field.

Thieves cut through a fence to gain access to the field in Clapton, Kintbury, Berkshire, sometime between Wednesday and Thursday.

Pc Will Smith, from Thames Valley Police, said: "The sheep were tagged and it is likely the offenders would have spent some time getting the sheep on to a lorry."

He appealed for anyone with information to call officers on 08458 505 505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
