A US rapper whose songs include one called Sell Drugz has been charged with selling drugs.

Twenty-nine-year-old Michael Persaud, who performs under the name Montana Millz, was arrested in Pennsylvania.

The Lebanon County district attorney claimed Persaud and a female accomplice sold 70 bags of heroin to an undercover police officer during a month-long investigation.

The prosecutor added that police who raided the couple's hotel room found more than two ounces of heroin, worth about 11,500 dollars (£9,400).

The two suspects, who have been remanded in custody, are both from Johnston, Rhode Island.

Investigators say Persaud's online mix tape also includes songs called Gun Play and Armed and Ready.
