A beach hut in "poor condition" is on the market for a guide price of £40,000, it has been revealed.
The paint is peeling, there is no front door and the floor is lined with sand, but the hut in the seaside resort of Southwold in Suffolk has already attracted inquiries from potential buyers, an estate agent said.
The small hut is being sold by Durrants and comes with the warning: "Potential purchasers should be aware that the hut is in quite poor condition."
Other beach huts in the seaside resort have sold for more than £100,000 in the past, a spokesman for the estate agent said.
